Storyboard Wedding presents Blush and Burgundy Winter Texas Wedding

Drew and Jamie have a coworker to thank for initially setting them up at a group happy hour. The pair officially started dating In a matter of weeks after that happy hour.

For their engagement, Drew planned a romantic trip to a cabin in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. They spent an afternoon hiking “Friendship Trail,” which ended up being much more difficult than the name suggested. Drew proposed as they reached a beautiful lookout point near the river, and they shared in the joy with some celebratory drinks he had tucked away in his backpack.

Hoping for a rustic and romantic wedding, an ombre color story of rose hues filled this Texas wedding with an unmistakable warmth. The natural brick and wood interior of the venue provided a warm and cozy feeling for this winter wedding. Outdoors, Stone Crest Venue overlooked miles of rolling Texas countryside. Drew and his father designed a DIY cross for the ceremony constructed from wooden logs from the couple’s garden. Behind the couple, a fireplace was lit with candles. For her entrance, Jamie made her way down the wooden staircase lined in florals, which offered a perfect moment of drama. Jamie’s lace wedding dress included a layer of sparkle tulle in the skirt, beautifully pairing with her rhinestone booties.

Unique signage was scattered throughout the reception space, expertly designed by a close friend. Their seating chart was based around their history fostering dogs. Each table included the dog’s photo, as well as information about their adoption to their forever homes. Jamie recalls the joy of including so many of their closest friends on their wedding day. She even rented an Airbnb the night before the wedding to spend some time with her gals before the delightful day of celebrating with her new husband!
